The Renewal Reset is a restorative nervous system recharge by the sea, created for women who are ready to begin the year differently. Not from urgency or pressure—but from presence, ease, and deep listening. Set in January 2027, this retreat invites you to unplug from the constant stimulation of daily life and return to the wisdom of your body. Over these days together, the rhythm of the Sea of Cortez, the expansive Baja skies, and intentional somatic practices will gently guide your system out of survival mode and back into balance. This is not about fixing yourself—it’s about remembering what it feels like to be regulated, resourced, and fully alive in your body.
Nestled in La Ventana, just two hours from Cabo San Lucas International Airport, Casa Tara Retreat Center is a secluded paradise devoted to pleasure, wellbeing, and restoration. With sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez, this sacred space naturally supports nervous system healing—inviting stillness, clarity, and spaciousness to emerge. About Maria…
Life coach, Maria Brito is a women’s empowerment/life coach and medicine woman that has made her home in Huntsville, Alabama after traveling the world for 30 years with her husband Luke who recently retired from the military. Mama Maria, as she is lovingly called, was born in the beautiful island of Puerto Rico and she is known for “keeping it real” and is loved for her authenticity, spunkiness, and loving nature. As a mother of two daughters and grandmother to five beautiful souls, through her teachings she shares from her own life experiences. Her focus is assisting women in the journey to connect to what needs to be healed within in order to create space for what they want to manifest. She believes that we all have the magnificence to provide healing to our own bodies and loves to remind women of their worth.
Maria is also a certified RYT-500 yoga instructor, a breathwork facilitator, Human Design coach, and lover of Ayurveda. She infuses her offerings with powerful practices and tools which assist her clients in coping with everyday overwhelm so they can live more joyful, and present lives. She is also a certified trauma-release praticioner. Her programs and world-wide retreats are infused with a high dose of self-love and have been described as life-changing, transformational, motivational, raw and deep. Self-Care Protocol
Participants will have the option to start a self-led cleanse two weeks before the retreat. This will help them prepare for retreat and teach them how to begin to apply self-care practices to support their energy type. This is important work for all women on this path to help you feel your very best!
The proper self-care protocol will also include pre-recorded yoga and meditation sessions.

Three weeks before the retreat each participant will have a One-on-One call with Maria. This is a powerful call to dive deep into your own unique Human Design blueprint. The information you will gain from this call will help you navigate with more ease in all areas of your life/career.
Group Water Therapy Experience and The Morning Practice Workbook
Water has a way of meeting us beyond words, softening the nervous system, invading the body to release and allowing sensation to lead instead of th mind. As we do deep somatic work during retreat, this group water therapy experience becomes a powerful ally. This practice that Maria loves to incorporate in all her retreats helps stored emotions to move through, and remind the body what safety, flow and surrender feel like.
Participants will also receive detoxing practices for you to begin the work before retreat begins. This soulful workbook is filled with 10+ worksheets that will help you plan for the upcoming year and continue to inspire you.
You will continue to use this valuable tool all year long!

Our Venue
Casa Tara retreat center offers privileged contact with nature, an excellent climate, and tangible energy that creates an ideal environment for finding immense peace and connection. Located 2 hours from the Cabo San Lucas Airport and 1 hour from La Paz International Airport participants will have transportation options (not included in price of retreat) provided with the support of the retreat center.
Named after Tara, a female meditational deity for Buddhists, who is considered to be the Bodhisattva (or mother) of Universal Love and Compassion. This beautiful space, with a mediterranean vibe makes you feel like you are in Greece and provides the perfect backdrop for peace and tranquility.

It is highly recommended that you arrive the day before the retreat to avoid any extra delays in case of airline issues. Nearest airports are Los Cabos International airport (SJD) which is 2 hours away from the retreat center and La Paz International airport (LAP) which is 1 hour distance from the venue. There will be transportation pickups at a determined time to make it more cost effective when sharing with other ladies attending. If you decide to arrive at a time that does not allow you to catch the designated ride, you will have to pay a higher rate for the transportation. Most women attending retreat arrive the day before, stay at the same hotel and all go out to dinner, get a good night sleep and then begin the first day of retreat refreshed. Women attending get to meet each other before the retreat via a pre-retreat planning call that Maria puts together. THINGS TO NOTE…
- Passport is needed to enter Mexico and it must have an expiration date 6 months beyond last day of retreat
- Travel insurance highly recommended (Wanderwell is the company that Maria uses)
- Price of retreat does not include airfare + transportation to/from the site, optional spa services and tips for staff
- Maria will assist in helping you coordinate transportation from the airport to the venue and back but cost of transportation is not included in retreat price. All groups attending retreat try to coordinate on times of arrival to share the cost of transportation so don’t worry!
- Check out last day of retreat is 11am so you can book a flight in the late afternoon or stay the night in town and integrate then depart the following day. Most women extend their stay so they can relax a bit more before heading home and choose to stay at a similar hotel in town.

Because this retreat WILL SELL OUT just like in the last three years, and because there are only fifteen spots the deposit is the only way to secure your spot and will be applied towards the retreat cost. Upon paying deposit you will be able to set up a call with Maria to talk about options and payment plans if needed. Please note that deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable to another retreat so be sure this feels in alignment before signing up!
If choosing to pay in full to save the $300 upchage then the payment must be placed by 1 June 2026 after deposit is made to hold your spot.
